Development setup is all the same except for Runemate as far as I know, Runemate has a more complicated way of setting up their client for development as you have you use SDK mode and you can't run local scripts for more than 3 hours until you push it privately to the Bot Store.

Otherwise everything is relatively the same for writing code except Runemate where you need to use JavaFX and Embedded GUI's I believe.

I would stay away from OSBot since it's the most popular which means more data points from the scripts on there.Īll of the clients are relatively the same for API except TRiBot and Runemate, TRiBot has ABCL2 and Runemate has PlayerSense. TRiBot X is also going to support touch which means mobile bots so theoretically less bans, only client I know of that has plans for mobile. But 3 of the major clients are getting an update, Dreambot -> Dreambot 3, RSPeer -> RSPeer 3, TRiBot 11 -> TRiBot X. Tribot also has really good anti ban with it's ABCL2.

"Best" is obviously subjective it depends on what client fits your needs the best, if it's speed go with RSPeer, antiban? Runemate is really good, currently have 2 f2p accounts 70+ fishing and 60+ cooking on free scripts. I just wanna get started writing scripts, but with the confidence that I'm not wasting my time on a shitty client, please advice! :)Įdit: I'm looking to run many bots for gold farming, but not just suicide farmers. Generally this subject is insanely anoying to find information on, as it's ever changing and there really isn't too much information easily accesible. Tribot might also still be relevant? Seems like they were out of the loop for a while, but is now back in it? Still seems pretty dead, I can't tell. RsPeer comes in second and seems to have the guide side of things covered, however is rumored to be easily detectable, atleast for a while there, from what I can tell? If it's currently as or less detectable as the other clients, this seems like the way to go! (Which I'm sure I could get around, but does seem worry-some) Runemate seems like the best option based on being the most consistent answer, from people who have had success in the past, but seems to be lacking in up-to-date guides etc. I'm not just looking for something I can write/run scripts in now, but for years to come. So, which one do people recommend as of july 2020 for scripting? It seems to vary alot depending on when the question is asked. Please let me know if I forgot to add you, I can't quite remember all the help I've gotten years back.I have been researching quite alot the past days to figure out which botting client to use. It serves as a source to help new developers get started.Ĭredits also go out to some users for helping me progressing and also with contributions to code in this repository: You're free to use any code in this repository and modify it to your wishes. I've set up a that takes care of this for you. Sadly, RuneMate does not support Gradle for downloading dependencies, such as the RuneMate jar. This is up to the user (you) to implement later on. Manifest files containing internal ID's have been removed and I've had requests from people I used to work together with to remove some of the source code, mainly regarding the UI aspect. So obviously there are some aspects in the repository which has been censored to avoid people directly stealing this bot and uploading it. Some of these bots are not finished, and some have features that have not been fully tested yet. This is the reason behind this repository: completing the circle of learning. I have used open source bots before to learn how bots work. Personally, writing these bots has helped me get into development, specifically Java and Kotlin. Warning: using cheats is against the terms of service from RuneScape Runemate is a platform that allows users to automate aspects of the game RuneScape. This repository serves as a way for people to get into writing bots for RuneMate.
